The grey squirrel is native to America. It is illegal to release a grey into the wild because the British government wants to get rid of the grey squirrels in favour of our own native Red squirrel. Because of this animal charities refuse to help grey squirrels because when they release them back into the wild they will be breaking the law.

We don’t care about the law we just want to help grey squirrels.

These 5 squirrels are orphans. Their mother is no where to be seen. They have no nest so are sleeping at the bottom of a tree. Every day they are out, they are at risk from dogs, traffic and clumsy human feet. At night they risk being eaten by foxes and cats.

We want to increase their odds of survival so they can grow strong and learn to fend for themselves.

If you want to help you can make a donation or you can pass this site on to your friends.
