Having grown up in Belgium , Laurie moved to London , aged 16, to study Musical Theatre at Arts Educational. Upon graduating she performed in various musicals including the original West End production of Disney 's Beauty & The Beast in which she appeared as a plate and a napkin!
Laurie then decided to step away from dancing cutlery and returned to her studying books to complete a postgraduate course in acting at East 15 Acting School. Her TV credits include: Waking the Dead ( BBC ), Absolute Power ( BBC ), Broken News ( BBC ), The Royal (ITV) and No Heroics (ITV2). |

She has performed in various theatres including: Sadler's Wells, Richmond Theatre, Brighton Theatre Royal, Gate Theatre, Arcola Theatre & Lewisham Broadway Theatre.
In spring 2007 Laurie played a showgirl in Keeler (Upstairs at the Gatehouse) for which she had to master a traditional fan dance. Fascinated by this glimpse into the burlesque world Laurie attended Miss Polly Rae 's burlesque class at Dance Attic and couldn't believe her luck when Polly asked her to audition for her troupe. Laurie has been a Hurly Burly Girly since September 2007 and assistant director since spring 2008. |

Louise originates from an all singing all dancing Show Girl and a Marine Engineer hence why she is memorable to all as an eccentric! She attended Italia Conti Theatre Arts School in the Barbican before auditioning for everything and getting nothing because she's so short – which is a VERY lucky thing because those wiggles and sashaying hips were calling her name within the HB walls culminating in being dubbed HB's Dance Captain. Her character Felixy is most commonly known for her Polish “accent” which comes out at every opportunity. She is a perfectionist and is ruthless with a mirror in rehearsals! |

Betsie Bon Bon is the longest running member of Hurly Burly and can't quite believe the amazing positive effect that burlesque can have on you. She is our resident pouty sex kitten with unique talent and old Hollywood looks. Betsie came from a street dance background but has always been influenced by the 40's and 50's era and incorporates it into her everyday style.
Not only is she an incredible performer but the ever so sassy Betsie has a real flair for styling and works as our costume supervisor to make sure the group glitters! |

Since the age of four, Charlotte performed in dance and dramatic shows. She was selected for FTD's Cabaret Team (2003-2005), whose credits include The Marlowe Theatre, Her Majesty's Theatre and Disneyland Paris. She has a degree in Dance Studies and Art History and is currently studying to teach dance at the Royal Academy of Dance.
Upon moving to London , Charlotte decided Burlesque was definitely what she was going to do and toured in newly created acts along with a year of successful solo performances. Charlotte became a fully-fledged Hurly Burly Girly in 2007. She enjoys watching old musicals and playing the piano.

Sarah-Lou has been dancing since she could walk and trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. She has travelled the world dancing on luxury Cruise Liners and tested her Bollywood skills dancing in India . Performances followed in UK Tours of 'The Blues Brothers' and 'The Rat Pack'.Sarah-Lou then went on to become a TV presenter- spending 7 months on live TV across the USA and now currently appearing on a home shopping network on Sky. An early member of Hurly Burly, she is now delighted to be back in her stockings, sequins and tassels, performing as 'Ooh La Lou'!
